Castes were created by Brahmins??
So then-
- The 1100+ castes among Dalits were also created by Brahmins?
- The 744+ castes among tribals were also created by Brahmins?
- The 5000+ castes among OBCs were also created by Brahmins?
- The castes of Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs who are taking reservation, were also created by Brahmins?
- Not only this, after creating castes in all religions, Brahmins also made a flowchart that this is above, this is below, this is below that? That too of 8-9 thousand castes and 25000+ sub-castes?
- And for the last thousands of years, everyone has been blindly following the same flowchart till today, with such intensity? And even if they want to, they are not able to change it?
But Brahmins are 3%!! And they live on the mercy of others!!
So how is this magic of these 3% poor people working till date?? What kind of science is this??
No, Brahmins were not the creators of the caste system, but were instead a part of it:
- Origins The caste system is believed to have originated in the Vedic period between 1500 and 600 BCE. Some theories suggest that the caste system originated from the ritual kingship system, while others believe it originated from the arrival of the Aryans in India.
Brahmins
The Brahmins were the highest caste in the Hindu caste system, which divided Hindus into four main categories. The Brahmins were mainly teachers and intellectuals, and were believed to have come from the mouth of Purusha, the cosmic man. The name Brahmin comes from the first trained priest to perform a Hindu sacrifice, who was named Brahmin.
Varna
The word varna appears in the Rigveda and the Mahabharata, and has multiple meanings, including “color, race, tribe, species, kind, sort, nature, character, quality, property”. In the Manusmriti, varna refers to the four social classes.
Caste system today
The caste system still persists today, although the Indian constitution prohibits caste discrimination. Castes can determine occupations, marriage partners, and social contacts
