Mahakumbh News: A major accident took place on Sunday in the Maha Kumbh organized on the Sangam coast of Prayagraj, in which two people died. Actually, both the people were crushed by different vehicles, due to which they died.
A tragic accident took place in the Maha Kumbh organized on the banks of Sangam in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh, in which two devotees died. Information has come to light about the death of two devotees sleeping in Bela Kachhar parking of Phaphamau.
Both deaths have occurred due to being crushed by different vehicles. One of the deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Geetesh Saini of Moradabad, who had come to Sangam with his mother. Geetesh fell asleep in the parking after taking a bath in Sangam, when in the morning a bus parked in the parking lot ran over him.
The bus driver was backing the bus, when Geetesh came under the wheel. At the same time, the other deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Anil Thakur of Bihar. Anil Thakur was also sleeping in the parking lot. Then the Creta car passed over him, due to which he died.
FIR has been registered
It is being told that the Creta car driver was backing the car, when this accident happened. Anil had come to take a bath in the Ganga with his wife Lal Munni. Regarding the incident, Fafamau police station in-charge Ashwani Singh said that both the vehicles have been seized and an FIR has been registered. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
Let us tell you that the movement of devotees in Maha Kumbh 2025 is continuous. Today, on the 43rd day, till about 10:00 am, 62 crore and 48 lakh people have taken bath. The enthusiasm and zeal of the devotees coming to Maha Kumbh here is high. They are continuously coming to take bath with the slogan of Har-Har Mahadev. They are going to their homes with water from Triveni Sangam. Devotees believe that the water is absolutely pure. They are also drinking it.
